Environmental monitoring for mines in operation
Content

Below are environmental monitoring reports from the mines in Greenland under the control of the authorities. The older reports show that before Greenland repatriated raw materials, monitoring was carried out by the Danish State and on their behalf by The National Environmental Research Institute of Denmark (NERI). Since the establishment of the Environmental Agency for Mineral Resource Activities (EAMRA), monitoring has been carried out in cooperation between EAMRA, Danish Centre for Environment and Energy (DCE) and Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR).
