NatureMap is an online mapping platform used by the Environmental Agency for Mineral Resource Activities (EAMRA). NatureMap shows protected areas, areas important for wildlife and permitting areas in Greenland.

NatureMap is ‘open access’, i.e. accessible to everyone. Through NatureMap you can explore and get detailed information about the protected areas and important wildlife areas in Greenland. This includes information on rules and conditions for access to areas related to mineral activities and how special consideration should be given to protecting wildlife.

At the same time, NatureMap allows you to keep up to date with the latest published biological knowledge, as the platform is updated by the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR) and the Danish Centre for Environment and Energy (DCE).
